Hi! I’m Melissa, a registered clinical counsellor who supports people navigating the messier parts of being human—addiction, trauma, grief, burnout, and life’s big transitions. I work with individuals and families who are doing the hard work of recovery, healing, and change—often while still surrounded by complicated relationships or systems.
My practice is trauma-informed, creative, and rooted in deep respect for your lived experience. I draw from approaches like Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and honest, real-world conversations. And yes, sometimes we’ll laugh—because humour can be healing, too.
People often come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward. You don’t have to have it all figured out—I’ll meet you exactly where you are. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore, strong enough to stretch, and supported enough to heal.
